Today, firefighters are better trained and equipped to handle the challenge. Recently appointed FEMA Region I Director Daniel A. Craig spent the day learning first hand from qualified instructors. Firefighters come from all over New England and the Canadian provinces to train at the modern facilities of the Connecticut Fire Academy.
