Fire Protection Systems for Emergency Operations
The Connecticut Fire Academy in cooperation with the National Fire Academy presents an in-depth six day class on Fire Protection Systems for Emergency Operations. This class provides extensive knowledge of fire prevention systems found in local buildings and encountered by fire suppression personnel and Incident Commanders. The course will emphasize the value of collecting this information during preincident planning and how to relay this knowledge to other firefighters who must respond and function effectively using these systems under emergency conditions. This presentation is scheduled from Monday May 18 through Saturday May 23, 2009 at the Connecticut Fire Academy in Windsor Locks. Class hours are scheduled for 0830 – 1630 each day with lunch included on site.
The course number is 09216 and includes 30 fire marshal credits for current fire marshals.
