The Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station will have a booth at the New Britain Youth Museum Family Earth Day Celebration at Hungerford Park on May 4, 2013 from 11 am - 2 pm. The Asian longhorned beetle and emerald ash borer have devastating effects on our trees. There will be games for kids, free pencils, magnets, and pins; The Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station will have two booths at the Norwalk Regional Tree Festival at Cranberry Park, Norwalk, on May 11, 2013 from 11 am - 3 pm. CAES staff will answer questions and distribute information on trees and tree diseases and invasive insects including the Asian longhorned beetle and emerald ash borer.
