St. Mary’s Hospital
Pursuant to Conn. Gen. Stat. 19a-486 et seq., the Office of the Attorney General is reviewing the proposed purchase of the assets of St. Mary’s Health System Inc., of Waterbury, CT, by LHP Hospital Group, Inc. The Attorney General’s review and approval is required whenever a nonprofit hospital enters into an agreement to transfer a material amount of its assets or operations to a for profit entity. This review is being conducted jointly with the Department of Public Health, Office of Health Care Access. The following are key documents from the review process:
