Important Election Day Information

The polls will be open tomorrow, Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 6:00am – 8:00pm. Primaries will be conducted in 23 communities:
There will be Democratic primaries in Bloomfield, Bridgeport, Hamden, Hartford, Middletown, New Haven, Oxford, Stratford, and West Haven.
There will be Republican primaries in Bridgeport, Brooklyn, Colchester, East Haven, Killingworth, Plainfield, Plainville, Preston, Ridgefield, Shelton, Somers, Southbury, Voluntown, and West Haven.

Registered voters who are in line at 8:00pm will be able to vote and should stay in line. Voters can find their polling places at myvote.ct.gov/lookup.
The Office of the Secretary of the State and the State Election Enforcement Commission jointly run an Election Day hotline. If voters encounter any problems at the polling place they should contact the hotline at 866-733-2463 (866-SEEC-INFO) or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Although Connecticut has Election Day Registration (EDR) for general elections, there is no EDR in primaries.
