After several months of meetings and retreats, engagement with thousands of stakeholders through surveys and focus groups, input by Connecticut State Department of Education staff and leadership, the latest draft, which includes goals, action items and outcomes, has been developed. Teacher Negotiations Act (TNA)

All districts must update this form each year pursuant to the Teacher Negotiations Act, Connecticut General Statutes Section 10-153a et seq. (TNA). Unions and boards of education may elect to engage in mid-term negotiations at any time during the year. Therefore, it is important for the Department of Education to have updated contact information even if your district’s union contracts do not expire that year..
