For individuals wishing to comment on items on the Board’s agenda:

Public Participation. If you wish to speak during public participation and would like the Board to receive a copy of your prepared remarks, please bring 20 copies to the meeting. The sign‑up sheet will be available at the entrance of the meeting room beginning at 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Each speaker will be limited to three minutes.

Public Participation – via E‑mail Submission

Written communications should be sent to the following email address: SDE.StateBoard@ct.gov. All emails submitted to the CSDE at SDE.StateBoard@ct.gov for public participation will be shared with Board members and filed in the Official File of the meeting in the Board Office. If you intend for your email to be considered public participation, please identify so in the subject of the email. Anonymous emails will not be shared. Please indicate your name and affiliation.

Interpretation Services
If you are attending the monthly State Board of Education meeting and require interpretation services, please submit your request in writing via email no later than 12:00 p.m. on the Friday before the Board meeting. Written communications should be sent to the following email address: SDE.StateBoard@ct.gov.  Please specify in your email the primary language for which you need interpretation.
