Governor and Mrs. Lamont on the Passing of Former First Lady Mary Meskill
(HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Ned Lamont and First Lady Annie Lamont today released the following statement on the passing of Mary Grady Meskill, wife of Connecticut’s 82nd governor, Thomas Meskill:
“Mary Meskill was devoted to her family and had a passion for her children, her community, and the State of Connecticut. In addition to being an elementary school teacher in the Hartford school system, she was an active volunteer at New Britain Memorial Hospital for many years. The Meskills are a significant part of Connecticut’s history, and on behalf of the entire state we send our deepest condolences on Mary’s passing.”
