Governor Lamont Directs Flags to Return to Full-Staff Thursday Evening
(HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Ned Lamont today announced that he is directing U.S. and state flags in Connecticut to return to full-staff at sunset on the evening of Thursday, July 30, 2020.
Flags have been flying at half-staff as a mark of respect for the memory and longstanding public service of U.S. Representative John Lewis. A funeral service for Congressman Lewis is scheduled to be held Thursday morning.
