UPDATE - 7.1.2020

Please be advised that the Secretary will not be awarding FY20 Regional Performance Incentive Program (RPIP) grants due to the shortfall of funds in the Regional Performance Incentive Account (RPIA).  The RPIA is funded from a portion of hotel and car rental taxes that have been affected by COVID-19.  We greatly appreciate all the hard work and effort that went into the applications.

Funding for RPIP grants is provided under CGS Section 4-66k using a portion of the hotel and car rental taxes.  The last round of grant funding was in FY 16, since legislation subsequently removed the dedicated funding stream for FY 17, FY 18 and FY 19.  The dedicated funding stream was re-established effective July 1, 2019.
