Effective October 1, 2021, The Justice Education Center (TJEC) is serving as the statewide administrative and coordinating arm for Project Longevity in collaboration with the Connecticut Office of Policy and Management, the Office of the United States Attorney - District of Connecticut, and the Hartford, New Haven, Bridgeport and Waterbury sites.

Because of the Project Longevity site- and state-level administrative and coordinating role TJEC is now fulfilling, the Executive Committee has been dissolved and therefore will not perform the convening function it previously did. In its place, TJEC is facilitating, in collaboration with partners, coordination efforts within and across the four sites to implement gun-violence-reduction strategies.
