CGA Tops Several Best Colleges Lists

New London — The U.S. News & World Report has named the U.S. Coast Guard Academy as one of the best institutions of higher learning in the U.S. in its 2016 Best Colleges publication.
The publication lists the academy as the top spot in “Regional Colleges North” category. It is the second consecutive year the institution has topped that list. The academy also holds the number 15 spot in the “Best in Undergraduate Engineering Programs” category in the publication.
The academy also made the Princeton Review’s “The Best 378 Colleges,” its annual guide to higher learning, and Forbes magazine’s “America’s Top Colleges” list. Forbes rates schools on a return on investment scale, with points for high graduation rates, student satisfaction and career success. CGA ranked No. 6 on the Forbes “Best College” list, and was included on the top 25 Best Public Colleges list.
