Recent Taxpayer Mailing: Non-Filer Letters

An important part of the Department of Revenue Services (DRS) mission is to ensure those who are required to file a Connecticut income tax return have done so.

As part of this effort, DRS is sending letters to certain taxpayers who filed a 2017 Connecticut Income Tax return, but have not yet filed a return for tax year 2018.

The letter is a reminder to help taxpayers avoid the accumulation of interest and non-filer penalties. Taxpayers should follow the instructions provided; contact information is included if the taxpayer has questions or needs additional assistance.
