The Connecticut Department of Revenue Services (DRS) recently developed a flyer to help further introduce myconneCT, the new and mobile device-friendly DRS portal where certain taxpayers will soon file state returns, make payments, and view their filing histories.

This is another component of a larger communications effort to reach audiences about the agency's multi-year modernization initiative, designed to improve internal systems and make filing taxes simpler and more efficient for the public.

In May, the most visible change will be a transition from the current Taxpayer Service Center, or TSC, to myconneCT, where new taxes will be added each year. Roll out One taxes include sales and use/business use, withholding, and other similar taxes, generally impacting business and bulk filers.

DRS encourages taxpayers to visit the dedicated myconneCT web page to learn more, and to check back regularly.
