On Feb. 17, IRS Electronic Products & Services Support (EPSS) issued an alert that a possible phishing scam is targeting tax preparers asking them to log into their e-services account and update their EFIN account information. Please note that this email was not generated by the IRS and the links provided appear to be a phishing scam to capture your usernames and passwords. EPSS is cautioning practitioners to NOT click on the links provided and disregard the email.
