The Connecticut Department of Revenue Services (DRS) invites you to attend our FREE Sales Tax Workshop in WATERBURY. The informative session will be presented by DRS and is designed for the tax novice.

Sales Tax Overview

Sales and Use Taxes are applied to a wide variety of goods and services. This informal one-hour presentation will cover the basics of sales and use tax, how and when to use exemption certificates,
and good record keeping techniques. Learn how to avoid the pit-falls before they happen.

Information for the day of the event:
  1. A valid picture ID to provide to security.
  2. Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to start time to allow for ample time to go through security.

PARKING INFORMATION

Metered street parking is available around the Rowland Center building. Pay hours are from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm. Rates are .25/15 minutes, $1.00/hour. Kiosk pay stations take coins and credit/debit cards,
but not dollar bills.
