COVID-19 Community Levels Update, March 17, 2023: The CDC has listed all eight Connecticut counties in the Low/Green category as part of its weekly Community Levels update. People who are at a high risk for severe illness should consider additional measures to minimize their exposure to COVID-19 and respiratory illnesses. The Department of Public Health (DPH) held two hearings for public comment regarding the alteration of the boundaries of public water supply management areas and the priorities for the initiation of the Water Utility Coordinating Committee (WUCC) planning process. The Commissioner of Public Health continues those hearings to June 16, 2014 at the Department of Transportation, 2800 Berlin Turnpike Newington, CT to obtain additional public comment. In addition the written comment period has been extended from on or before May 23, 2014 to on or before July 15, 2014.
