| The general goal of Connecticut’s Police Traffic Services Program is to significantly reduce the number of speed-related crashes. Moreover, the goal includes reducing the high level of crashes due to Connecticut’s four predominant contributing factors (following too closely, failure to grant the right of way, speeding, and violation of traffic controls), with an emphasis on speeding. | |
