Mission

The mission of the Bureau of Policy and Planning is to carry out a continued, cooperative and comprehensive statewide transportation planning process that provides for consideration and implementation of projects, strategies and services to address economic development, sustainability, increased safety and security, increased accessibility and mobility of people and goods, protection and enhancement of the environment, and enhance the integration and connectivity of the transportation system across and between all modes of travel.
