Issue: Errors when opening an InRoads Storm and Sanitary Database.
InRoads Storm and Sanitary Error Message 1 OR InRoads Storm and Sanitary Error Message 2
Resolution:  You are most likely exceeding the limits of your computer’s memory or RAM may be set to low.
Step 1 - If you are a department employee please contact help desk X3500 to have your RAM settings checked .  If increasing the RAM does not help move to Step 2.
Step 2 - Some users have had success disconnecting the Storm and Sanitary database from the RWK and opening the database first before the RWK opens all the other files. If you are still getting errors move to Step 3.
Step 3 - Save and close all your InRoads files.   Clean the MicroStation file you will be working in when using Storm and Sanitary.   This will entail only having the needed reference and raster files attached; large nested attachments could be using up your memory.   Compress the MicroStation file and save settings.   Completely close MicroStation to clear your computer’s memory.   Reopen the clean MicroStation file and proceed to open only the needed InRoads files, loading all the files may be too much for your computer’s memory to handle.

Issue: MicroStation Crashes after using the InRoads Place Grid Tool.
Resolution: This problem has been logged with Bentley.   The short term solution is to save all InRoads files before using the Place Grid Tool.   You should then immediately close InRoads and completely exit out of MicroStation.   After exiting you can now proceed back into the MicroStation file in which the grid was placed and open all the needed InRoads files.blueline1
