Today, the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) announced that CTtransit bus route 928 Southington-Cheshire-Waterbury Express will resume service on Monday, June 20. Like all public transit buses in Connecticut, this route will be fare-free until December 1.
The 928 was originally suspended in September 2021 along with two other express routes. While the 928 resumes on Monday, June 20, the 921 Middletown-Old Saybrook Express and 923 Bristol Express will resume service in August 2022.
