Electrical Maintenance I-91 Northbound Rest Area in Middletown
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that an electrical repair project will be performed on Interstate 91 northbound rest area in the Middletown.
The project consists of trenching over the I-91 northbound off ramp in the Middletown. The project will be performed Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
This work is being performed by state forces.

Motorists can expect the rest area to be closed on I-91 northbound in Middletown. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to close the rest area. The work is scheduled for this project is from Sunday, April 2, 2023, 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
