The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a Wrong Way Driver demonstration will occur on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 between 7 and 8 p.m. at the Interstate 84 Exit 32 westbound off-ramp in Southington. The demonstration will result in a temporary closure of the off-ramp.
The demonstration consists of the Wrong Way Driver flashing lights signage on I-84 in Southington. This demonstration will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2022.
This project is administered by the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Electrical Sign Installation, District 1.

Motorists can expect exit ramp closures on I-84 westbound exit ramp 32 in Southington between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists around the work zone.
Detour: Exit 31 West Street left onto West Street, left back onto I-84 westbound.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
