Milling and Resurfacing Routes 10/202 in Avon and Simsbury
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Routes 10/202 in Avon and Simsbury from Route 44 to End Channelization (0.12 Miles N/O Route 167).
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 4.72 mile of Routes 10/202 Avon/Simsbury. The milling of this project is scheduled to start on Sunday, July 17, 2022 and be completed Thursday, July 28, 2022. The resurfacing of this project is scheduled to start on Sunday, August 14, 2022 and be completed on Thursday, August 25, 2022.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect delays and one lane alternating traffic. The work schedule for this project is Sunday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
