The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.78 mile of Route 847 Waterbury. The milling of this project is scheduled to start on Monday, August 29, 2022, and be completed Friday, September 9, 2022. The resurfacing of this project is scheduled to start on Sunday, September 11, 2022, and be completed on Friday, September 23, 2022. No work will be performed on the day before, the day of, or the day after the Labor Day Holiday.
This project is included in the CT Department of Transportation 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect delays and one lane alternating Traffic. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for the milling of this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday). The night work schedule for the paving of this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday – Thursday).
