The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that the Interstate 84 Eastbound Exit 41 On Ramp from South Main Street will be closed intermittently at night between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., over the next six months, starting on June 6, 2022.
The ramp will be closed intermittently, as necessary to allow for the installation of drainage, milling of existing pavement and the placement of new pavement and lane markings.
DOT Project No. 0155-0171 was awarded to O&G Industries at a cost of $54M on March 2, 2020 and is scheduled to be completed May 30, 2023. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 1 in West Hartford, CT.

Intermittent nighttime ramp closure at I-84 Eastbound Exit 41 on-ramp from June 6, 2022 to December 15, 2022. A detour will be posted directing traffic westerly along Route 71, then onto New Britain Avenue, and finally entering I-84 Eastbound at Exit 40.
