Wrong Way Driving Signage Installation on I-84 Eastbound at Exit 32 in Southington.
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that an electrical sign installation project (wrong way driver) will be performed on September 19 and September 20, 2022 between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m.
This project is administered by the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Electrical Sign Installation, District 1.
LANE CLOSURE INFO/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect exit ramp closures on I-84 Eastbound Exit 32 in Southington. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists around the work zone. Night work schedule for this project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday night into Tuesday Morning. Detour: Exit 34 Right onto Crooked Street Right onto Woodford Ave, Left back onto I84 e/b.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
