  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the current detour for the section of Route 140 (Crystal Lake Road) that takes Route 30 (Stafford Road) to the intersection of Webster will be ending October 30, 2021.

• 9/23/2021 Rehabilitation of Bridge 00327 Carrying Route 1 Over the Housatonic River in Milford and Stratford

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the start of the construction project to rehabilitate Bridge 00327 carrying Route 1 over the Housatonic River in Milford and Stratford.

• 9/23/2021 Scheduled Surveying Activity on Route 15 (Wilbur Cross Parkway) Northbound in North Haven at Exit 62

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a surveying operation will be performed on Route 15 (Wilbur Cross Parkway) northbound at Exit 62 Dixwell Avenue in North Haven on Saturday, September 25, and Saturday, October 2, 2021.

• 9/23/2021 Retaining Wall Replacement on Route 44 in Putnam

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation’s (Department) Office of Engineering is developing plans to replace a section of retaining wall that supports Route 44 in Putnam.

• 9/21/2021 Rehabilitation of Route 2 in Colchester

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation’s Office of Engineering is developing plans to rehabilitate the concrete pavement and improve the overall safety conditions on Route 2 in Colchester. The purpose of this project is to repair the existing Route 2 pavement and restore it to an acceptable condition that is consistent with FHWA pavement guidelines.

• 9/20/2021 Installations and Revisions of Traffic Control Signals in Various Connecticut Towns

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation (Department) is developing plans to replace existing traffic control signal equipment with new equipment to meet current Department standards at 11 locations in Fairfield, Milford, Norwalk, Shelton, Stratford, Trumbull, Wallingford, and Wilton.

• 9/20/2021 Scheduled Extension of Route 82 Road Closure in Salem for Ongoing Bridge Replacement Activities

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled extension of the existing road closure of Route 82 in Salem. Route 82 will remain closed until October 1, 2021, to facilitate ongoing construction activities associated with the replacement of Bridges 01140 and 05401 carrying Route 82 over East Branch Eight Mile River and Swamp Brook.

• 9/20/2021 Scheduled Weekend Lane Closures on Route 8 Northbound in Waterbury

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that for two consecutive weekends, beginning at 8:00 PM on Friday, September 24, until 6:00 AM Monday, September 27, and from 8:00 PM on Friday, October 1, until 6:00 AM Monday, October 4, 2021, there will be lane closures on Route 8 northbound in Waterbury to facilitate rehabilitation of Bridges over Platts Mill Road and Metro-North Railroad.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that drainage maintenance will be performed on Route 7 in New Milford.

• 9/20/2021 Cornwall Maintenance Facility Motor Fueling Tank Replacement

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation's Office of Engineering is developing plans for the replacement of the motor fueling facility on the site of the existing garage at 24 Bunker Hill Road in Cornwall.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled closures of the Exit 33 off-ramp on I-95 in Stratford between the hours of 9 AM and 3 PM on Wednesday, September 22, Thursday, September 23, and Friday, September 24, 2021.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing scheduled nighttime lane closures on I-691 in Meriden, Southington, and Cheshire beginning on or around September 27, 2021.

• 9/20/2021 Attenuator Replacement on I-84 Eastbound at Exit 51 in Hartford

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that work to replace an existing attenuator will be performed on I-84 eastbound at Exit 51 in Hartford. Work is anticipated to occur on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, and Thursday, September 30, 2021.

• 9/20/2021 Scheduled Closure and Detour of the Main Street On-Ramp in East Hartford to Route 5/15 Northbound and I-84 Eastbound

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the Main Street on-ramp in East Hartford to Route 5/15 northbound and I-84 eastbound will be closed beginning on the night of October 3, 2021, through November 21, 2021. The closure is necessary to facilitate ongoing work on the I-91 Charter Oak Bridge Project.
