Emergency Retaining Wall Repairs

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing Emergency Retaining Wall Repairs will take place on December 13, 2021 to December 27, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the following location: I-84 Westbound Exit 21 Bank St./Meadow St. Off Ramp, Waterbury

The project consists of Retaining Wall Repairs on, I-84 Westbound Exit 21, Waterbury.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect the I-84 Westbound Exit 21 off ramp to be closed. Traffic control signing patterns and crash units will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is 9:00 a.m. To 3:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
