The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on the northbound side of the Putnam Bridge on Route 3 in Wethersfield – Monday-Friday, April 20-24, 2020.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2020 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Mohawk Northeast Inc.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 3 Northbound between the exit for I-91 North in Wethersfield and the exit for Putnam Blvd in Glastonbury. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
