Governor Lamont meets with U.S. Labor Secretary and U.S. Commerce Secretary at Connecticut Department of Labor Apprenticeship Program at Electric Boat in Groton
(HARTFORD, CT) – On Tuesday morning, Governor Ned Lamont will meet with U.S. Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh and U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo at General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton. The officials will tour the shipyard and visit the apprenticeship program at the facility that is administered by the Connecticut Department of Labor. Immediately following the tour, the officials will hold a media availability. Other participants will include Senator Richard Blumenthal, Congressman Joe Courtney, Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro, and General Dynamics Electric Boat President Kevin Graney.
