
-Emergency Rental Assistance for Connecticut’s Economy-
The UniteCT program is currently processing cases that were fully submitted by the program close of March 31st, 2022. On July 31st the following notifications were emailed to all potentially eligible electric and/or rent households with important instructions and deadlines (link to PDF of the UniteCT Final Electric Notification Letter and UniteCT Final RentRelief Notification Letter). Fully submitted cases are reviewed in accordance with the program guidelines and availability of Treasury's funding.
UniteCT Program is administered by the Department of Housing on behalf of the US Treasury. UniteCT may provide eligible tenant households up to 12 months and/or $15,000 in rental assistance and up to 12 months of electric arrearage assistance on behalf of program approved Connecticut households financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. UniteCT is stabilizing CT’s rental housing market by financially supporting those households up to 80% of HUD’s Area Median Income (AMI).
