This 3 hour course is designed for non-clinical, support staff who work in settings where they have contact with consumers.  Support staff will learn how to recognize potentially unsafe behavior, when to alert clinical staff, and use basic safety measures in the workplace.   Per facility request, support staff may also learn physical blocking skills to protect self against assault related injury.
