SCHOOL BUS DRIVER ARRESTED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT, DURHAM

   As a result of an on going investigation a subject was arrested this afternoon for charges related to sexual misconduct with minors. The arrested subject was a school bus driver for the Durham School District working for a local school bus Company and the misconduct occurred on the bus.

   State Police investigators began working on this investigation last week when the complaint was reported. State Troopers and State Police Detectives were assigned to this investigation. During the course of the investigation a warrant was submitted to the court (G.A. 9) and such warrant was granted by the court there by authorizing the arrest of the accused.

   Due to the nature of the crime and age of the victim few details will be release and the arrest warrant has been sealed by the court. 

Arrested:  Anthony MATHRE, age 26,  d.o.b.05/20/1981

               104 Lisa Lane, Middletown, CT

Charges:  Sex assault 4^th degree

              Risk of injury to a Minor (2 counts)

Bond:  $250,000 court set bond

Court:  If bond is not made -  Dec. 5^th, 2007 at G.A. 9 in Middletown
