Dealing with Distressed Bears, Bobcats, or Coyotes
It is very difficult to successfully rehabilitate and return these animals to the wild. Connecticut law prohibits possession of these animals. If one is found, you should contact the Wildlife Division at 860-424-3011 so that the situation can be assessed. In some cases, arrangements can be made to place the animal with a specialized rehabilitator in another state.
