Quality Assurance Project Plans
The Long Island Sound Water Quality Monitoring Program strives to produce high-quality data. To do so, all data are collected under Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs). A Quality Assurance Project Plan can be considered a "blueprint" for collecting the variety, amount, and caliber of data needed to support environmental decision making. All projects funded by EPA must have an approved QAPP before sampling begins.
