Project Description:
The Department has prepared a draft permit and has made a tentative determination, subject to public comment or other information, the approve the application of Poly Craft Industries renewal of its Air State Facility Permit. This draft permit would allow for the continued operation of existing infrastructure and does not include any new or expanded operations. Poly Craft Industries, located at 40 Ranick Road in Hauppauge, is a commercial flexographic printer on plastic bags. Solvent-based inks are applied to the bags for commercial and industrial applications. Operations are located in a single-story building. The facility operates under a seasonal variance. The facility has removed one (1) CMF-Mirage Model 806 Press and added one (1) UTECO-Crystal 808 Model 130 8 Color Press. The permit will now include a cap on the facility's emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) at 22.5 tons per year. The facility is located at 40 Ranick Rd, Hauppauge, Town of Islip, Suffolk County, NY. SCTM # 500-23-2-5
