DEEP is excited to be getting back to our new normal consistent with the direction of Governor Lamont and as a result of the rapidly improving COVID-19 situation in Connecticut. Starting no later than June 1, all customer facing services will resume normal business operations. Youth Programs and Professional Development
The Kellogg Environmental Center offers workshops and programs for all ages, including the adult learner.  Schools, scouts, clubs, and community groups are welcome to request speakers and programs based on their needs.  Our educational offerings, program information, and booking information are provided using the links below.
  • Student Based Field Studies: Menu of programs for field trip visits for grades 3-12; topics are also available for visits to schools or centers.
  • Professional Development Workshops: on a wide variety of environmental topics for formal and informal educators.  Scheduled year round through the environmental center, these workshops are offered at the Kellogg Environmental Center and can be arranged for other locations.
  • Scout Programs:  Scouting leaders may participate in programs designed to help scouts meet badge requirements or provide program support.  Besides attending special badge day programs, leaders may also register scout dens, packs, troops, or individuals for general public programs, as well.
