Communicating Air Quality Alerts to the Public

In 2016, the EPA lowered the National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) for ozone from 75 parts per billion (ppb) to 70 ppb. The CTDEEP, Bureau of Air Management, held an event to get the message out to the public as to how this change would affect the upcoming ozone forecasting season in Connecticut. Several specialists in their fields were invited to give talks on air pollution and its health effects. The links to the presentations are provided below.
