Eligibility - Emerging Teaching Artist

Applicants must be a Connecticut artist and:

• 18 years or older
• able to provide proof of primary residency in Connecticut
• lawfully permitted to work in the United States
• available to travel and participate in the in-person 8 session program. 

Artists selected will enter into an agreement with the State of Connecticut and will receive a training stipend in the amount of $1,000.

Please be aware that COA will collect a W9 from selected artists and the stipend may be considered taxable income.
