The Office of the Arts partners with organizations and services providers to expand professional development opportunities for Connecticut artists.

Registration is now open for Winter/Spring 2023 Assets for Artists workshops. 

A4A online workshops are free and open to artists (depending on geographic focus). Learn more about the workshops and register at this LINK.

Grant Writing Essentials for Artists

Jessica Morozowich, Funding Booster Program Manager & Professional Grant Writer. The in’s and out’s of grant writing -- what you need to have in place before you apply; how to make sure you’re relevant and READI; how to write persuasive narratives, and develop comprehensive budgets. We’ll look at CT Office of the Arts funding opportunities for artists in particular, and review comments from panelists to give you the inside look at what makes a proposal shine!

Grant Writing Essentials for Artists 2.0

Join Jessica Morozowich, Funding Booster Program Manager & Professional Grant Writer, for Grant Writing Essentials for Artists 2.0. Building off the skills of the first workshop in December, we’ll look deeper at developing compelling artistic statements, how to diversify income for stronger financial health, and the importance of collaboration & how to do it right! We’ll continue to look at CT Office of the Arts funding opportunities for artists, and review final report requirements.
