Arts Learning: Access Grant Program


The Access category of our Arts Learning grants provides funding to help expose learners of all ages to the arts through such experiences as field trips within Connecticut, school or classroom visits, performances, “informances,” and/or lecture demonstrations by artists or artist groups or arts providers.  

Access grants are awarded for $500-$1,000. No match is required.


Applicants may be from any of the following types of organizations/programs:

  • Pre-K through Grade 12 schools and affiliated parent organizations
  • 501(c)(3) arts organizations seeking to provide arts access experiences in Connecticut
  • Arts program of a 501(c)(3) non-arts organization seeking to provide arts access experiences in Connecticut

Please note: Regional Service Organizations are not eligible for these types of grants.
