Elevator Contractor - Equivalent Out of State License

Refer to Elevator License Scope of Work to determine proper license applying for.

An equivalent out of state license is one that required the same number of classroom hours, equivalent classroom curriculum, and on job training hours as the license type you are applying for. 


Example:  For your out of state license to be equivalent to the Connecticut R-1 license, your out of state license must have required 576 classroom hours and 12,000 hours of the job training to obtain.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

If you meet the equivalent out of state license requirement, choose ONE OUT OF STATE LICENSE ONLY and submit the following documents:

          - Copy of the license

          - License verification

          - Laws and regulations that include the requirements met for you to obtain this license

          - Scope of work for this license

       

DO NOT SUBMIT DOCUMENTS FOR MORE THAN ONE OUT OF STATE LICENSE.  ONLY ONE LICENSE WILL BE REVEIWED FOR EQUIVALENCY.     

IF YOU CANNOT PROVE THAT YOU HOLD AN EQUIVALENT OUT OF STATE LICENSE, YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE APPROVED BASED ON THIS REQUIREMENT.
