The DRAFT CT Family First Prevention Plan is now available for review and public comment.
The Department of Children and Families (CT DCF), together with our partners, is becoming a child wellbeing system focused on prevention and early intervention. This compliments our existing focus on child protection and children's behavioral health.
CT DCF co-leads JoShonda Guerrier, Sr. Admin Clinical & Community Supports and Bureau Chief Ken Mysogland, External Affairs, have masterfully led a structured and collaborative process. These decision-makers, thought partners, and experts serve throughout state government, community organizations, advocacy groups, contracted providers, and a host of other stakeholders--all on a mission to develop a functional prevention plan prioritized to ensure children and families are truly at the center of the work.
