Advanced manufacturing powerhouse.

The Eastern CT Manufacturing Pipeline Initiative provides no-cost training to address the hiring needs of General Dynamics Electric Boat, members of the Eastern Advanced Manufacturing Alliance (EAMA), and other industrial, aerospace and defense manufacturers.

Intermodal transportation hub.

Southeastern CT is accessible by rail, road, water and air, including ferry access from NY and RI. The Groton-New London airport hosts a number of businesses and the Army National Guard’s 1109th Theatre Aviation Sustainment Maintenance Group (TASMG). Daily airport activities include: recreational and corporate flying, flight training, tourism, military training.

There are neighborhoods, rural communities and small town centers across all of the southeastern CT region.
