Regarding Upcoming Appointment Renewals
Company agent/agency appointments renew on May 1st , 2008. Appointment renewal invoices will be mailed out on or around April 29th, 2008. Any appointments, which the company wishes to non-renew, should be terminated electronically by April 15th, 2008. All appointments, which are active as of 4/22/2008, will be included on the company's appointment renewal invoice. Renewal invoice payments are due by May 30th, 2008.
In an effort to "go green", the Insurance Department will not be mailing out the agent/agency appointment listings with the renewal invoices. However, companies may access their appointment details for this invoice with our online Freedom of Information tool by using the following link:
Select "Appointment Inquiry", then follow the prompts. Once your search is complete, you may click "Export to File" to save the data in an Excel spreadsheet, for your records. The data will include comprehensive listings of agent and agency appointments, including all active appointments, as well as appointments that have been terminated within the last year.
