What’s Next After the Eviction Moratorium Expires?

Link to the Recording

Early on in the pandemic, the government issued a moratorium to prevent eviction proceedings from going forward. This was both a public health necessity to make sure people had a safe space to quarantine and an economic necessity due to pandemic-related layoffs and shortages. As the moratorium expires, housing courts, advocacy groups, and individuals are bracing for what comes next. This workshop will give insights from a number of experts on what will happen next once courts allow the eviction process to proceed.
