Fire Marshal Richard Morris Appointed to Commission
On April 26, 2004 Governor John G. Rowland appointed Richard Morris of Niantic as a member of the Connecticut Commission on Fire Prevention and Control representing the Connecticut Fire Marshal’s Association.Mr. Morris replaces former Hartford Fire Marshal John Vendetta who had recently resigned to move out of state.Commissioner Vendetta had served the Commission with distinction since1989.
