Blue Mass - Save the Date – Seeking both LODD and Non-LODD Information

The Annual Blue Mass, celebrated by the Archdiocese of Hartford, is preparing for this year’s mass which is scheduled for May 4th, 2014. The committee is seeking information from CT Fire Departments that have suffered Line of Duty Deaths as well as non – line of duty deaths of active members.

If your department has suffered either a LODD or Non LODD of an active member between April 1, 2013 and now, please submit the name of the deceased, department affiliation, family contact name and address. The committee would like to invite the family to the annual Blue Mass.

Please email your replies/info to Captain James McLoughlin at McLoJ001@hartford.gov and put ‘blue mass’ in the subject heading.

Also, any organizations or associations that can support the annual blue mass through donations for this annual event are encouraged to send their contributions to: Blue Mass  c/o Archdiocese of Hartford,  134 Farmington Ave, Hartford, CT 06105. Please share this financial appeal to your fraternal organizations or associations.
