Bay Crane Services of Connecticut Recognized 

At their February 28, 2012 meeting, the Commission on Fire Prevention and Control presented a Certificate of Appreciation to John Stevens and Joe Zils from Bay Crane Services of Connecticut in recognition of their efforts to transport two steel artifacts from the World Trade Center from a storage hanger at JFK Airport to the Connecticut Fire Academy.  The Connecticut State Firefighters Memorial Foundation erected one of the artifacts as a permanent memorial adjacent to the Connecticut Fallen Firefighters Memorial and dedicated it during the 9th Annual Fallen Firefighters Memorial on the September 25, 2011.
